John grew up in Kingsport, TN and after graduating high school he joined the U.S. Navy as Hospital Corpsman later obtaining his commission as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer, FNP. For 23 years he has been involved in various aspects of medicine, including primary care, flight medicine, Emergency Medicine, in various capacities stateside and abroad in Iraq and Afghanistan, completing multiple tours. Now semi-retired after 21 years of service, John has is the guy you want that will give everyone patient centered family care to the area and while offering preventative screening, review, and health coaching.
